Since when is "truth" a "conspiracy theory"? And you obviously have no
clue about any of this stuff. But since Obama's lawyers have tried to
shut up the NRA ads, I think that qualifies a "truth". The really
funny thing are the arguments that the NRA ads are not factual based
on quotes from Senator Kennedy as to what impact his bills would have
on gun owners. Oh Sure. THAT is REAL "rebuttal". That's like "proving"
Saddam Hussein was nice guy of the year by quoting statements from his
brother.

But of course it's worse than this. You have to remember the great
McCain "campaign Reform" bill that made it a felony to even reveal a
candidate's voting record if you aren't a member of the "official
media"! Sweet. So now we have BOTH choices fro president opposed to
the First Amendment! We doan need no stinkin' free speech!

But I'm sure you don't give a rat's ass about political free speech in
America even on usenet.

It all started with a KMOV-TV report by John Mills, who said
“prosecutors and sheriffs from across Missouri … will be reminding
voters that Barack Obama is a Christian who plans to lower taxes on
anybody making less than $250,000.”

Then he quoted two members of the “truth squad” on camera saying they
would challenge unfounded attacks. He added that they would “respond
immediately to any ads and statements that might violate Missouri
ethics laws.”

Obama's speech cops are now back pedaling furiously, unaware of the
storm of REAL controversy (unlike Sarah Palin's children or
grandchildren) their strike against the first amendment would cause.

Obama. He hates you, you filthy gun-clinging bible-thumping American.

Wants to bring back the failed Clinton Gun Ban;

Endorsed a complete ban on handgun ownership;

Supports local gun bans like DC did and Chicago still does;

Supports mandatory licensing and registration;

Opposes right to carry laws;

Wants to ban the manufacture and sale of inexpensive handguns;

Supports mandatory micro-stamping;

Supports mandatory ballistic fingerprinting;

Supports mandatory waiting periods;

Supports one-gun-a-month sales restrictions;

Supports banning the sale or transfer of all forms of semi-automatic
weapons;

Supports an increase in state restrictions on the purchase and possession
of firearms;

Supports a requirement that all manufacturers to provide child-safety
locks with firearms;

Supported a proposal to ban gun stores within 5 miles of a school or
park;

Feels that middle class America is "clinging to guns and religion" due to
being embittered by the economy;

Voted against a bill that would have allowed someone who used a handgun
to deter or defend against an intruder in their homes to assert self
defense if charged for violating local handgun bans;

Wouldn't sign the petition to the USSC that RKBA is an individual
right....
