Yep, it looks like 1976 all over again. Democrats won the
Presidency, the House of Representatives, and they won a
fillibuster proof majority in the Senate.

Democrats did nearly as well in 1992. They won the Presidency,
the House and the Senate, although their Senate victory wasn't
fillibuster proof.

This too shall pass.

Remember the truism: "Power corrupts. Absolute power
corrupts absolutely." Single party rule doesn't last long.
The people will restore checks and balances.

That's precisely what they're doing in *this* election. The "single party
rule" of the corrupt and venal Republic Party was a disaster for this
country. America started by taking back Congress in 2006. We'll complete
that job this year and take back the White House as well.
